Birthed in a basement, nurtured in a church, let loose on the world! BORDERLINE ELEVEN is a group of four friends from New Hampshire who started a band for something to do in their spare time in November, 2005. After mastering some cover songs to see how well they played together, they tried their hand at songwriting. A local church hosted a monthly open mic night, and new songs were introduced every month. Response to their music was very positive and encouraging. Energized by winning two Battles of the Bands in two weeks, serious gigging began. Demo tracks were turned into an EP in response to fan demand, and Pacific Wasteland was released in the summer of 2006. New recordings are underway, and their next CD is expected to be out in late 2009. Their first three years have been jam-packed with amazing events! They became their high school's only band to win back-to-back school championships and the only sophomore band ever to win. They have played with nationally known bands THE CLASSIC CRIME, ELEVENTYSEVEN, THE FOLD, JOHN REUBEN, and RECYCLED PERCUSSION. Winning an online competition for a showcase set at Soulfest, BORDERLINE ELEVEN was presented as an emerging artist in August, 2008. High energy, rockin' beats, and positive messages are what set this band apart. This is a band that must be fully experienced LIVE!
Better than a ten, they are... BORDERLINE ELEVEN!!!
